Join Us for Our Next Meeting

Meetings Are Held on the First Wednesday of the Month

The Chester Cycling Campaign meets at 7:30 pm on the first Wednesday of every month (except for the month of January when the meeting takes place on either the first or the second Wednesday).  We normally use a hybrid meeting format with some people attending in person and others attending via video conferencing.

Everyone is welcome. Please feel free to come along and find out how you can become involved.

Attending in Person

Meetings take place at:

Bowling Green Court

Bowling Green Court EntranceThe Bowling Green Court meeting room has full video conferencing facilities with a large projection screen and a new Epson projector. A duty manager present on site 24 hours per day to assist room hire customers and visitors. The entrance is via one locked pedestrian gate and two large locked gates to permit vehicular access. The gates are automatic and are kept shut and locked except when in use. The meeting room is on the ground floor and overlooks the bowling green and gardens.

Bowling Green Court is close to the Bus Exchange and a short distance from the railway station. Car parking is available nearby at the Brook Street Car Park.

Bike parking is available under the covered car port on the right after you pass through the gated entrance. The Bowling Green Court warden will let meeting attendees through the gate on their arrival. The gate is locked during meetings to ensure the security of bikes left in the car port.

Bowling Green Court is fully accessible with level access and accessible toilets. There is space to store trikes and other wheeled mobility aids in the bike storage area.

Refreshments are available, and meeting attendees may bring their own beer, wine or other alcohol. There is an off-license nearby.

Online Attendance

Laptop ImageThose who prefer not to attend in person can attend meetings via video conferencing and can take part in the discussions. The Campaign uses Jitsi as our video conferencing platform. Jitsi is very easy to use and is similar to Zoom. A Jitsi video link is sent out by email to all members during the week before the meeting.

Meetings are open to non-members as well to enable those who may be interested in joining the Campaign to find out more about us and to meet us. If you would like to be invited to our next meeting with a Jitsi link, then contact us using our ‘Contact Us‘ form and tell us a bit about your interest in the Campaign. We look forward to meeting you!
