    • Hi Linda,
Apologies for our late reply. Thanks for contacting us.
Do you have a bike? Is so, you could sign up for Bikeability training – the Council are funding it, so it’s free for adults and children who live in Cheshire West and Chester. Use this link https://bikeright.co.uk/sponsors/cheshirewest-chester. Ensure that, at the top of the page, in the “Your Area” dropdown, you select “Cheshire West and Chester”. You will have to create an account with BikeRight.
If you have a friend who could help, you could follow the guidance on our page “HOw to teach an adult how to ride a bike” https://chestercyclecity.org/teach-an-adult-to-ride-a-bike/
If you don’t have a bike, then please ask for Cycle Buddy (also free!) from one of our members and we can go from there. Here’s the sign-up page: https://chestercyclecity.org/cycle-buddies-scheme/ Please note that Karen Barker has now retired (she’s mentioned on the page, we will update it).
Hope that is useful, please get back to us if you have any queries.
      Cathey
