Free Cycle Health Check at Bren Bikes
New members are able to take advantage of a FREE HEALTH CHECK for their cycle at Bren Bikes. The normal price is £25. Bren staff will run some checks on your cycle, do any easy fixes and (when necessary) give a further assessment of what else might need doing and how much it might cost. This is a generous offer from one of our Corporate Members. For this benefit, new members are those with a membership number 360 or higher as shown on your membership card.
Free Cycle Safety Check
If your cycle is not being used due to a puncture or misaligned brakes or gears, you can book a free cycle safety check. One of our experienced, mechanically-minded members will then arrange to check your cycle over, fix any punctures and carry out any necessary minor adjustments. Check out the full details here.
Cycle Training Lessons Discount
Chester-based National Standards Cycling Instructor and Campaign member Karen Lyons is keen to get more people cycling, and cycling safely! She’s taught 100s of local children to ride their bikes, often in just a single 1 hour lesson and is offering members a 12.5% discount making it just £35 for a 1 hour, 1-2-1 lesson for everyone over the age of 5 years old.
Karen also offers BikeAbility-style training, giving cyclists the skills & confidence to cycle on Chesters roads. Lessons last 90 minutes & Campaign members pay just £50 for a 1-2-1 session or £35 each for 2 or more participants. Sessions are individually tailored to each cyclists needs.

Free Loan of Our Cycle Workstand and Set of Cycle Tools
The Campaign has purchased a high quality, stable cycle workstand and a full set of cycle tools for exclusive use of our members free of charge. Borrowing these will enable you to carry out any repair or upgrade tasks which you may be planning, saving the expense of buying something which you may use only occasionally. Membership of the Chester Cycling Campaign is open to anyone who supports our aims. Here are our affordable membership rates:

Unwaged\Student £5.00
Family Membership* £15.00
Life Membership £100.00
* For two or more people living at the same address. Family members are entitled to all the benefits provided by the Chester Cycling Campaign, except that only one copy of our regular email bulletins and any other information will be sent to each family.

Joining after April 1st in any year entitles you to membership until the end of September in the following year!
